Meet Cole Nickell, Owner Of ProExteriors

Cole Nickell - Owner Of ProExteriors

I’d love to introduce myself. My name is Cole Nickell. My wife and I are upper 30’s with 4 kids, one in high school, one in middle school, and two in elementary school. She and I met while I was pursuing a degree in Biblical Studies at Covenant College. After a decade of pastoring, earning a Masters degree, and establishing various side businesses, I found a new passion in helping people secure their homes and properties with quality roofing.

I get excited about Jesus, mentoring young people, and business. Since I joke (not really a joke) that my maturity better matches a high school student, I’ve spent the last ten years coaching Ultimate Frisbee at Lambert High School north of Atlanta. Chat with me, and you’ll likely catch a reference from the show, The Office (as I have a very refined sense of humor), or we’ll have a deep convo about how awesome Jesus is.

My absolute favorite part of my job, even more than getting to meet you (which is very awesome for sure), is getting to work with an insanely high caliber team. It’s a family business, my brother (Chad) is our finance manager, one brother in law (James) is the COO, and another brother in law (Ben) is our production manager.

We’re The Right Team For The Job!

Choosing the right exterior specialists for your home should be simple.

You need professionals who can improve your exterior quickly,

but you also need experts to help you navigate your insurance.

Our team is both.

ProExteriors specializes in both residential exterior and commercial exterior services. From siding and gutters to painting and pressure washing, we have it covered!

Signs like leaks, damaged siding, clogged gutters, peeling paint, or visible wear often indicate a need for repair or replacement. Our ProExteriors specialists can inspect your exterior for free and advise you on the best course of action.

It depends on the extent of the damage. If only a small section is affected, a repair may be sufficient. The ProExteriors team will assess the damage and give our expert recommendation once we take a look at your exterior.

Many residential exterior projects can be completed in 1–2 days, depending on the size of the home and weather conditions. More complex projects, such as larger exterior upgrades, may take longer.

Our process includes an initial free inspection and recommendations (1 day), working with your insurance company to help you navigate an estimate and claim (1–3 weeks), and completing your exterior upgrade (1–2 days)! ProExteriors prioritizes quality and efficiency in every project, with minimal disruption to your home.

We offer a variety of durable Exterior materials designed to fit different budgets, styles, and performance needs. Our residential Exterior material options include several variations of high-quality asphalt shingles and the innovative GAF TimberSteel metal exteriors. Exterior Maintenance and Exterior FAQs

What are the most common reasons for Exteriors failure?

Exteriors fail due to poor installation, storm damage, aging materials, lack of maintenance, and inadequate ventilation. Regular inspections and timely repairs help prevent premature Exteriors failure.

The average Exteriors lasts between 25–50 years, but the lifespan of a Exterior depends on the material, climate, and maintenance. Asphalt shingles typically last for 15–30 years, while metal Exterior can last 40–70 years. Regular inspections and maintenance can help extend your Exterior’s lifespan and prevent early replacement.

A professional exteriors inspection is recommended at least once every 2–3 years or after major storms to catch issues early and extend the life of your exteriors.
Regular maintenance, such as cleaning gutters, trimming overhanging tree branches, and scheduling frequent inspections, can help prevent exteriors damage. Proper attic ventilation and timely repairs of small issues also help extend the life of your exteriors.
Exteriors maintenance involves regular inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs to prevent larger issues. It ensures your exteriors lasts longer and performs optimally.
Clogged gutters prevent proper drainage, leading to roof leaks, foundation issues, and water damage. Regular gutter cleaning helps prevent costly repairs.
Common signs of a exteriors leak include water stains on ceilings or walls, dripping water, mold growth, or a musty odor in the attic. You may also notice missing or curling shingles, damaged flashing, peeling paint, or sagging areas on the ceiling. If you suspect a leak, schedule a exteriors inspection to prevent further damage.
Exteriors leaks can result from missing shingles, damaged flashing, clogged gutters, ice dams, and improper ventilation. Regular inspections can help detect these issues early.
Poor ventilation can lead to excess moisture, mold, ice dams in winter, and higher energy costs. Signs include musty odors, high humidity, and inconsistent indoor temperatures.
Missing shingles expose your exteriors to leaks and further damage. Schedule an inspection to determine whether repairs or a replacement are needed as soon as possible.
Yes, hail and storms can cause dents, cracks, or even structural damage. Signs to look for from the ground include missing shingles, granule loss, and leaks, but we recommend that a professional safely inspect up close. Schedule a exteriors inspection if you suspect damage!
It is best to immediately contact a reputable exterior’s company for a free inspection. We’ll assess the damage, document it, and guide you through repairs or replacements.
No, it’s not recommended to climb on your exteriors to inspect for damage. Walking on your exteriors can be dangerous and may cause further damage, especially if shingles are loose or the structure is weakened. Instead, look for signs of damage from the ground, such as missing shingles, sagging areas, or debris buildup. For a thorough assessment, schedule a exteriors inspection to ensure your exteriors is checked safely and professionally.
